In August 2025 I travelled to Malaysia. While there I was privileged to spend four days in the Taman Negara Rainforest. This was my first trip to a rainforest. Taman Negara is an area of protected rainforest. Unfortunately, huge areas of Malaysian rainforest outside of Taman Negara have been destroyed to make way for palm oil monoculture.
